Haha, took this on my phone a half year back when I was drunk off my ass (no not off those 8 caps lol). I always flip past it every once in a while and just smile a little.
jumping speed bumps…
the driver…
I would not let my wife drive that thing… it crazy fast
maybe it would be nice to ride that off roading if it had a full cage around your head as well. but with how tall this thing is, how many people it holds, and the fact that it can probably tip over really easy. i see a big problem happening. but still fucking sweet!
nice pictures of the sail boats. i like the white one.
thost tall boats are sweet. i toured when i was in martha’s vineyard a couple weeks ago.
some random person’s front yard.
I really like that picture micah, where was that at?
Lockport, Rail Yard skatepark
my pride and joy, the best friend you could never get mad at!
and after all the running around in the tall grass, he now has a grass stain
my camera got taken away so until i finally buy my own, I’ll just stick to editting old ones. Heres one
“The same thing we do every night, Pinky - try to take over the world!”
EDIT: Before someone turns me in to child protective services, that isn’t boiling water. It’s luke warm water with a very small piece of dry ice at the bottom of the cup. And it was done under two adult’s supervision.
tried a different way than i normally do with editing. let me know what you guys think, and any suggestions. i will not take them as hurtful comments but tips for the next time I take pictures/edit pictures.
^ i thinking lighting alone would be your single biggest helper in every single one of those pics.
i.e. sun.
it was a cloudy day. stopped at this ladys house and while i was there, saw her garden and wanted to get a few pics to try and change my style from the last time. ill post one or two to show you the difference from the last time i took them at her house
these are the old ones, edited a little different than i do now. are the newer ones looking better than the old ones?
the backgrounds are really shitty looking imo(I curse a lot, sorry). try to angle yourself so that instead of just green and dirt in the background, you get more colors.
Also, step back as far as you can, and zoom in as much as possible with the lens. Also, set the Aperature as low as possible. This is going to do a better job of blurring the background. It will help give the photos a lot more focus on the subject.
edit: I am still editing this, hold on
ok, so look at this picture:
there is WAY too much going on. There is a rock in the background, green shit coming up, dirt/mulch. All of this is in the frame and worst of all, it is in focus. I honestly don’t know where to look in this picture.
Your original intent was to photograph a flower. All I see his documentation of a plant.
Get less “stuff” in the frame.
Look at this picture:
80% of the frame is taken up by just one flower. The rest is so blurry that you don’t even focus your eyes on it. It’s not stunning, and it’s completely uneditted, but I think it helps prove my point here.
That yellow flower above could make a much better picture if you just zoom in some more. Choose the prettiest part of the flower and get 90% of the frame filled with it. Couple that with the first advice given(step back, zoom in, aperature as low as possible) and you will have a picture 100x better.
thanks man, yeah, i was using p mode, so i really didnt play with the aperature and shutter speed, i usually shoot on manual, but i didnt feel like playing around, i was trying to just take them and leave as quick as possible.
but again, thanks for the info and i will surely be trying out your ideas!
even if you are in P mode, just step back, and zoom in
vs.
mine isn’t really a great picture, but it shows what kind of effect the “step back and zoom in” method can give
all the flowers in my picture are about the same distance apart as in your picture, but the blurry ones in the background give it that artistic edge.
