Random Picture Thread

wow, i never would have guessed that.
i just say use flickr cause photobucket makes you re-size your photo which is pretty lame.

yea all my “real” stuff goes on flickr

From SD.

Here are my favorites from the first assignment in my 35mm B&W photography class. pictures are grainy and dirty bc we scanned the negatives…

The assignment was that my shadow had to be in the frame somewhere.

i get the same invalid file response when i copy the html code from flickr as well. Anyone know what im doing wrong? anyway, heres my favorite one fro today

it shouldn’t be html code…just a web address to the picture

right click on the pic in photobucket when your looking at the full version

go to properties

copy the location

paste that into here when you click the add pic button(not attachment)

Success! heres my best ones, once again im new at this. Taken with a canon 1000d

a little constructive criticism.
your icicle is out of focus and i would also say try that one in black and white, it may add that something to it that’s needed because right now its a picture that out of focus and isn’t very exciting.

ya i thought it would look better in black and white but i dont even know how to do that, im guessing i can change it to black and white somehow after i take it?

since i’m assuming you don’t have any photo editing software i would say for now download gimp and play around with that. if you’re running windows and want CS4 and lightroom 2 let me know. ill hook you up.

i was gonna go get photoshop elements. Ive heard good things. My printer is a nice photo printer and I can print anything I want in black and white but as far as converting it, all I have is the basic canon software that came with the camera but i dont think I an convert to black and white, or im an idiot and just cant find out how.

here it is after i ran it through the photobucket editor. i changed it to grey scale and then boosted the contrast a bit.
play around the the photobucket editor for a bit just to see what different effects you can do with each slider.
