Saw this little guy up in a tree in my back yard. Grabbed the camera and went out there. Kind of scared the shit out of me when he dive bombed me. He was huge. (That’s what she said)
Took my daugher (3 and a half) on her first real hike Sunday. Really proud of her for making it all the way to the eternal flame and back. Only had to carry her on one of the creek crossings because she couldn’t make the jump.
Next time I will bring my tripod though.

You can clearly see the gate at the start of the trail where you park from Seufert Rd.
Not sure why they say the trail is unmarked. There are blue trail markers tacked to trees every 100 feet or so. There’s one point where the trail branches but it’s pretty obvious you want to take the branch toward the creek if you’re looking for the falls.
