Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone can modify a rear lip to fit my bumper? I ordered a civic 96-98 rear lip but I have a 99-00 rear bumper. There is a minor difference and it needs to be a bit longer about 3 inches. I’ve cut it in half so i can extend it but I am not exactly sure the process it takes to extend the lip. I know lafengas would be able to do this, but I have no idea if he’d be willing to help? I will pay someone to do this for me btw. If you can or know anyone who can do this, please pm me. basically anyone who can do bodywork 
i could do it, but the materials are not cheap. the tube of stuff i would use is $40 alone. PM if your interested
i suck at body work, but mayb try this:
get another lip, and cut whatever length you need out of the middle. use some epoxyand screan to build up support from the back side, bevel the edges of all the pieces on the front side, and then fill it in on the front with bodo and sand and smooth everything out.
^bondo doesnt work very well on plastic/ABS/polyeurethane.
you have the right idea, but a second lips isnt really needed
