I was just woundering, Would it be cheaper to get the engine rebuilt with stronger internal`s or just find a motor out of a low mileage car (same engine) and just get that built with stronger internals? My engine is starting to knock is the reason i was woundering. What do you all think would be better?
If it’s a street car, you might want to price up a Jasper reman at their website. For instance, a Jasper reman f-body LT1 is about 2,500 or so and comes with a warranty. To me, it saves time over a rebuild. …pull the old one, send it back to Jasper and put in the new one…
What are the plans for it? Do you want stronger internals for heads/cam, forced induction, etc., or do you just want a stock power replacement engine?
LS1 baby!!
