Remember kids, always be careful when doing cyclones in a parking lot

1st gear + low range + 3.73 gears =

It was covered under carquest’s warranty Lol.

Nice!

Impressive

I don’t know how to do the math, but…

3.73 axle gears
2.72 low range
3.00 first gear
375ftlbs of tq

The hell is a cyclone?

I was thinking a doughnut, but repetitively in an AWD is called Axis spine…
I guess doing them in the snow would look like a cyclone.

and theblue that is a Syclone. totally different.

Pics of carnage after it happened?

I was doing these in my jeep, no damage done except for a broken axle.

I’ve already fixed it and it’s back on the road

my nerd friend did the math and i put 4,196ft/lbs of torque to that axle. Lol

And this is where it broke on the axle

Yikes

It’s a Jeep thing.

LOL at the warranty picking up the tab. Good deal!

YEAH STEVE!

I don’t understand

I don’t either

Caught one of my employees (years ago) doing one in the back of a construction site with a rented jobsite framing forklift.
