i have the smx4 boots and they feel good and are relatively practical. i wear a 15 sneaker and my boots are a size 14.
ankle support is a must
I also have the smx boots. I have the ones with the tiny vent perforations. they are very nice. I wear them all time when riding.
Riding shoes are gay. some work boots would probably be just as good as those.
