I’m selling a very lightly used 66 Magnum Pre. Purchased it from an employee of a local hi-fi shop who used it briefly in his home setup (it’s lived most of its life in the box). I only used it a few months before changing apartments and going to an integrated amp - however I did upgrade the tubes to Telefunken (included) and have a spare set of Tungsram tubes for it too. There are two small black screws (one on each side panel) that are missing from changing tubes but you can’t really see it and it doesn’t affect the chassis etc. External power supply, very clean and neutral sound, awesome block-of-metal remote with “juice up juice down” only. It’s not only a solid sounding piece but a sexy one too.

Includes original box, manual, remote, extra tubes.

Asking $695 OBO (new/MSRP was $1,495) as I want it gone ASAP.

that remote is srs bsns, you could kill somebody with it.

That’s pretty much my criteria for audio, photo or tech gear: could I bludgeon you to death with it and still use it for it’s intended function :smiley: Aka does it “pass the test” hehehehe
