school me in circuits with LED's

I know you need resistors, capacitors, ect…
What are some other things i would need to know as im interested in making some things using LED’s

?

IDK what you need capacitors for… how about an idea what you are doing…

Something like this.
I want to make some sort of lamp for a small room with blue LED’s
5000mcd or higher blue LED are going to be used for the one I want to make.

good basic site…

just hook up a 9v battery to the circuit board and slap a few LEDs on it.

Resistors are for pussies.

  1. take extension cord
  2. cut off end
  3. separate wires
  4. Connect to 1 Farad capacitor
  5. hold firmly in hand
  6. plug other end of extension cord into wall

Or skip steps 1-6 and just stick fork into socket and :present:

my HS physics teacher gave a great lesson with capacitors.

i dont think it was a 1 farad one.

but the whole class held hands… and he touched the wires. together.

and 30 people all jumped at the same time. i still remember how my wrists & elbows hurt for a day.

1 farad capacitor… I’m sure 30 people wouldn’t be standing
