To those who are scared of virus’ on torrent sites if a torrent contains a virus a user will report it immediately and that torrent will get pulled. People don’t fuck around on those like P2P like Bearshare/Limewire. Those files get spread and people download them like a little carrier pigeon.
More importantly viruses are commonly found in programs and executable files i.e. .exe files, or .bat (batch files). So when downloading programs please be careful of these. Also be sure to upload in return, this is how the system survives.

Ya i figured heck ill try it out so i tried downloading a few applications i was looking for… and i scanned them with AVG and it found no virus’s. But some of the reviews said it had a virus, others said dont listen to them theres no virus… i still scanned them and i still got a virus, then AVG couldnt “Heal” it or delete it, so i downloaded spy terminator and it luckily fixed everything, but i still have the apps and they work great and i scanned after i installed them too just to make sure, so i think part of one of the installers had something but i removed it. This was from the pirate bay or whatever the site was… so becarefull still! :roflpicard:
depending on what it was, AVG probably flagged a legitimate file as a virus. It happens a lot with avg for whatever reason… usually keygens
ya it said i couldnt install *****sh*p because i had to close internet explorer to continue install, which it was closed, so then i restarted and an error kept popping up for i think ViewMGR or something like that and it kept restarting and restarting so i hit F8 opened up in last known configuration that worked and then AVG says i have a virus and my computer ran like crap, so i went to Download.com download free trojan remover and spyterminator worked great
Virus’ are easy to avoid just gotta know what you are doing.

Nod32 is probably as good as it gets as far as viruses. Personally I don’t use any anti-virus and haven’t had a problem.
I guess i had too much hope in my AVG to think that scanning the file Twice would of found it. I read the reviews and hald of the people said it doesnt have a virus, then the other halfe said it did, so i downloaded it anways thinking that my AVG that updates everyday would find it. :roflpicard: oh well, my computer still runs
i took mcafee off my computer cause it suxsor and i just run avg free edition you just gotta be careful dont be so click happy
