Its a short train ride from my office so I went for lunch yesterday.
Its small, only 16 table games (dont care much about slots). I got a free T-shirt which was nice.
It feels small and all the tables were pretty packed. Only one table had a shoe, the rest were auto shufflers. No bacarrat, no poker room.
Drinks aren’t free and there is a small non-smoking section but it smells like smoke everywhere. High limit slot area was a joke, $5 was the highes slot haha
No nice restaurant inside. There is a sports bar, a bakery/ice cream place, and another cafeteria style place that sells Franco Pizza, Teds Hot dogs, Beef on weck, etc. The burger was actually pretty good.
One guy sitting next to me described it best… he said “The entire HOOD is here” haha
I know its not vegas and i wasnt expecting it to be vegas… its a casino, you go to win money and its closer than driving to Nfalls, or salamanca.
I was down there a couple weeks ago as it’s near my shop and I was curious. I like both Blackjack and slots but the slots were a complete disappointment. Table games weren’t open yet. It does seem too small and the only real thing it’s got going for it is location, especially since I moved further away from NF.
Give it another change in a few months. A family member works at niagara, and she said they are having MAJOR issues getting this one up and running smoothly. I guess on day one, no one showed up for work at the buffalo casino and they had to bus in employees from niagara to take over.
