What shocks and struts are recommended for an S13, just looking for something to replace my current ones as im almost positive my left strut or shock is ruined
replace just the strut then… A good adj. strut and spring combo will run you around $800 or less and coilovers start at $1000ish and go up for anything half decent.
Kyb makes good shocks for a good price. the KYB AGX is an adjustable shock/strut that delivers good quality and performance for close to $100 per corner. throw on some Tein S-tech springs and you have a sweet street setup!
you can get some megan street coils, theyre pretty cheap about 800$ but they’re pretty stiff but does the trick
I got Meagan coilovers and regret it. Great on straight flat roads, but you know how Edmonton and Calgary are! If I were to re-do things, I’d stick with a good quality sport shock and Tein S-techs or Eibach springs. Yeah, sure it’s not adjustable, but if you just want a great street suspension, this is the way to go. And you save money for other great upgrades too! I wonder what a set of Bilstein shocks are worth… Hmm…
