Here you go, since it is pertinent to this thread. The headlight harnesses were moved to the outside of the engine bay inside the fenders.

no shit man

Looks good Lance. Thats about as far as i wanna go with tucking/hiding wires, is the headlight harnesses. I don’t want to make anything any harder to work on by doing an insane tuck or messing with wiring. Just doesn’t do much for me. Plus my Si has ABS which clutters the shit out of my bay.

That particular side of the harness used to have all of the ABS wiring on it. Crazy how much space that stuff takes up. That’s just stuff I had laying around… if I had more money, more quality materials would’ve been used.

Its not hard to do, it just takes some patience and creativity. I did some mild wire tucking on my daily. I didnt even go as far to run the harnesses through the fenders, and the car has functioning ABS, A/C, and powersteering. One of these days ill do a car with full wire tuck and go crazy with it. the mustang would be super easy to do.

when it was clean last year

It can be easy. I feel like the vast majority of cars I’ve seen wiring modifications on, the work and/or materials were half assed. It takes knowledge of different materials. Obviously when wiring tucking something like a Supra, I’d want the owner to use the top of the line stuff, where on my own car I’m using adequate, but cheaper stuff. It helps to know how to read wiring diagrams and how to properly assemble and disassemble wiring and harnesses as well.

What kinda sheathing are you using lance? Looks nice!

Just some fireproof stuff that people use for kool kustom komputers. If I do it all again I’m putting Raychem on it though.

POst some pics of that shit. Im thinking since my car is gonna be down awhile anyways I wanna do a real nice job on the wiring
