Mine is on the driver side too, but I guess the manifold looking the way it did just threw me off a bit since mine looks very similar to that (6 runners instead of 4 obviously) and is on the firewall side. I guess my motor isn’t a transverse one lol.
Transverse means the motor is sideways to put it simply, as in almost all modern FWD cars. Cars with longitudinal motors are usually RWD.
