No, the 956 is no where near a street legal car and the Dauer 962’s have never gone for a fast lap at the Ring. The 956 waqs on race tires also. IIRC the current fast STREET car lap is around 7:23 in a modified Lotus 7 (or maybe it was a Radical, I forget). IIRC before that the CGT held the record.
