The bad:
The video out port is bad, so you can’t play video directly from the camera on the TV. Not a big deal since it records straight to DVD and almost everyone has a DVD player now.

what comes with it?

Sure. Comes with the camera, charger and battery and a few blank mini-dvd’s. I’ll look for the manual but if I can’t find it you can easily get the PDF from the Hitachi site.
