ya i saw this before, it really makes me tempted to buy one and swap a V8 in it.

I can’t see shit from work

Yeah I’ve been thinking the same thing about the swap (Solstice + LS2) when I went and looked at the Solstice on Niag. Falls Blvd. the other night.Waiting to hear how good of a combination the turbo 250hp Solstice version is.

Apparently Mallet is saying that the LS7 should fit in there no problem…insane.

That almost makes the Solstice cool…almost.

Dude… the only time in my life, I’d rather be in the Saturn. its hotter.

If the LS7 is anywhere near 10k for the crate motor… maybe another 3k for swappage… plus the 20k initial cost for the car. Sell off the new motor you just pulled from the Sky… and then put busses on everyone in your neighborhood… and be an autocross masta, for less than a Vette would set you back.

:word: Sky>Solstice

How much lighter is it, really?

The Solstice is a sport car not a dragster.

sky>solstice

its wayyyy better looking
buy a sky and swap into that instead

that didn’t take long.

find out where that guy in europe trashed his and see how much he wants

Thats not the point…

an LS7 powering it wouldn’t necessarily make it a drag car… it would just have more power, and a little more weight above the front tires…

no biggy.

i saw my first solstice today…not too shabby

 to pontiac…for a change

$14.5k :jawdrop:

Wow… that’s up there for sure.

it says other options could be a supercharger or turbo and a 6spd tranny

ugh im liking this car more and more. i actually think it looks better than the sky.

and that price really isnt that bad considering the monster of a car you would be driving. this car would be scary fast with the ls7 and with the suspension properly setup for this kind of power it would KILL in the corners.

I’d buy the Sky for sure… :hitit: … heck if I was looking right now and didn’t mind having a two seater I’d definitely buy one right when they came out.

EDIT THought I’d post these for those who’d like to see the pics if you haven’t yet.

Another EDIT (Sorry  )

This is another car in the same "2 seater roadster"category. Not to shabby IMO. To bad it looks to only be a show car for anytiem in the forseeable future.

With the ecotec being such a capable motor, i say crank up the boost and save on the weight. You could easily make 500 hp with the money you would spend on the l67
