Okay, im sure a majority of you have noticed that early March i began titling First Bass, as First Bass Definitive Auto.
I wanted to make everybody aware of the new name, so here it goes.
I founded First Bass in February of 2002, at the time my primary sale/installation was stereo equipment, mostly subwoofers, big set ups, most of the customers were doing 4 12’s and i had a couple with 6 12’s. So at the time First Bass fit well.
Now about 6 years later, i found being in a location such as I am, and my customer base being more along the lines of upgrades and integrations, i seen the “Bass” side of things not being as important to promote, as well, the entire auto industry was still lacking qualified installation professionals to conquer integration, and accessory ad ons.
After a few calls for Fishing equipment (from serious callers) i realized that i had been limiting my business’s potential to those who knew that “Bass” was in fact, not a fish, and I needed to find a way to appeal to all customers looking to add in anything, or upgrade any car. (rather than fishing equipment) Thats when i came up with Definitive Auto, a Definite solution.
So here is where we are, Definitive Auto.
It was perfect timing, my Sales tax certificate was about to expire, (i would have had to renew under “First Bass”), i had moved into a new larger facility,(i would have had to do a change of address) I picked up a few new lines, extended my list of services, and was ready for a new name.
So all be told, First Bass is Definitive Auto, I am still the Owner, the business did not change hands, I did not gain a partner, nor was I purchased.
The service will remain the same, as I have found, people enjoy dealing with me, and are extremely satisfied with the outcome of all services I have provided under First Bass, I am making it my priority to continue to offer the same service only with a different name on the signs.
Alright, to bring this long post to an end, I’d like to put it out there, With the new name being so much better than the last i plan to introduce some things i haven’t done in the past. (Im going to list them to be cool)

in closing (for real this time) I want all of you to think Definitive Auto when you are in the market for any electronics, Definitive Auto does more than just Bass…
Also id like to see as many of you as possible show up for the Definitive Auto meet, soon as the details are ironed out ill post up more information.
