Some Z06 parts...

It sounds nice  much nicer than the clangy stock exhasut note.

and I can’t get traction under 50 at WOT till it warms up outside, so maybe in a month or so. LOL

Very true ^ and fun at the same time.

Jeller

He can’t, Hank will eat the camera like car parts, i mean shoes…

ohh…well i say you go over there and drive the car while he records

Looks good, going to be at dunnville again?

dot

Have you driven it yet?

How does the car feel now? Do you feel a lot more connected with the new suspension?

Car looks PERFECT! I like how you went with an exhaust that keeps the 4 tips, some of them utilize 2 larger tips and I think that looks “off” on the C5’s How is the sound with the MagnaFlow? Alot of the GTO guys were complaining that it sounded quiet. I think your car is louder inside then mine, but I think mine is louder outside, if that makes any sense. I saw a black C6 Z06 today on Elmwood, I’d sell what little soul I have for one of those.

You forgot the most important aspects of the vette.

Mullet optional, but recommended :poke:

It is just 1-1/2" off the ground, but that airdam does have some flex to it, and is pretty cheap. The center of the car is just a hair lower than 3" because I can’t clear the ramps I built out of 2 x 6s LOL

I drove it, but just enough to see if things were installed properly, not enough to get on it. I’ll do that after I get it aligned.

I like the “stock” look too, the tips are only 1/2" wider than stock. In regard to the sound, it’s as “loud” as stock, or just about, which is what I was looking for, but a lot smoother, no drone on the highway, and a lower sounding note.

X…

P.S. EvoMR I have the Corvette shirt to use during the warmer days when I actually drive the car, and I think the mullet will grow in all gray, so I’m gonna skip that. (get me the cougar hunting shirt though)

When you get up close to the car, it looks alittle higher then it is in the picture where you got the whole side profile, looks great though. Whats wrong with hunting cougars? I saw a 40 year old getting out of an Escalade today, I would have loved to be used by her then thrown out like a bag of trash.

 sweet tits

just curious though, why is the exhaust/muffler design look so inefficient? is it just me, or doesn’t it seem like there has to be a better muffler design than one that makes the air flow do a 180 degree turn before exiting the mufflers?

i’m by no means an engineer/mechanic, so who am i to judge/doubt guys that work on these designs for years…but just by looking at it, it seems like it would really slow down air flow…

looks evil… trade shotgun rides at dunnville?

how is the car in regards to roll center being that low?

Looks real good. Gotta love a clean Z/06.

Reading comprehension>theblue

I’ll take you for a ride at Dunnville N/P

I don’t really know how it drives yet. I’ve only done a few rolling burnouts down the street. I’ll go tear up some cloverleaf on-ramps till I throwup once it’s nice and I get the car aligned.

The make a no mufler straight through exhaust too, but I wasn’t really interested in that. The car makes plenty of power in stock form for what I do with it, and if I wanted a little more power I would just get some :tspry:

X…

where’s the turbo?

:stuck_out_tongue:

I forgot I got these belts for it to, to go with the whole “track car” theme (AKA no big turbo theme  )

X…

your knowledge of suspension geometry < mine then since he didn’t mention / factor anything other then lowering it as low as possible without preload. the control arms might be sitting at some crazy angles unless he got a roll center adjustment kit etc…

Eeeek! Those belts + those seats = you dieing or being seriously injured in an accident. Without should harness holes those will slip right off your shoulders in any kind of collision and you’ll be eating the dashboard. I’d rather not see that Xander.

The car will be fine, it isn’t even that low. Roll center only really influences the camber change characteristics under load and small dynamic property changes in the chassis.
Plus a lower center of gravity coupled with the fact the under load his camber will decrease giving him better handling win.

All in all X would be better off getting stickier tires before worring about his roll center.

Yah thats what I was thinking.

I have power grey sport seats if you want to trade…lol
