I’m Selling my old system that’s served me well for years. Don’t bother looking up the specs online as you won’t find them; this PC was custom optioned through Sony for myself. It was purchased in '05 and was not cheap, lol. It would be a great computer for a media center mule or work computer.
There are a few issues with it:
Does NOT come with a hard drive. I have factory restore disks so that you can install a new HD and restore it to original factory settings.
DVD writer / reader sticks and needs to be ejected sometimes by sticking a paperclip in the little hole.
The case door is fickle… I don’t know why, but sometimes the computer will not boot when the door is closed. I haven’t explored this issue further as I bought a new PC and never bothered to. But this issue started literally the day after I bought my new PC.
The processor is a liquid cooled Pentium 4 with Hyperthreading, 3.8ghz or 4ghz… I can’t remember exactly. Note the hole in the side of the machine and radiator on the back.
Memory is 2gb.
Video card is an NVIDIA something… with 256mbI think … it might be 512mb.
Standard definition TV tuner.
TONS of inputs & outputs: s-video, RCA, coaxial, Firewire, Fiber-optic, USB, VGA and that silly connection the proceeded HDMI but that isn’t HDMI.
Wow! old school but defiantly a work horse! I think $150 would be a reasonable price with all the accessories included, and that connection you were thinking of was dvi.
On a side note $75 for just the tower is my offer I could use a htpc in the bedroom lol
Yeah I had to have the dial on the back turned all the way down when I used it, lol. There might be controls though windows to decrease the amount of bass output but I never looked.
