Stupid Question...

i found hatch struts for my car, since mine are totally shot…on ebay, they are not stock, and the seller claims they will work on the car, but i remain skeptical since these are about $25 less for the pair than OEM would be…

just curious what some opinions or experiences on here have been regarding parts similar to these, and looking for recommendations as to what i should go for…

here’s the auction for the aftermarket ones:

and a different aftermarket brand, even cheaper:

here’s an auction the closest to OEM i could find:

cant see why they wouldnt work

they should work…

just bought the cheaper pair…

came to like $47 after shipping…

i got a local quote of $60 for the pair…$13 saved, meh, better than nothin…

they get expsensive…my hood struts are like 40 a piece

no a stupid question would involve a plane right now…

Looks like they would work

that’s nuts…i’d rather just keep a piece of wood with me to lodge in the hinge somewhere to keep it open than pay $80+

What if its on a treadmill though, will the wood keep it open?

pepboys sells um locally
