Suggestion for classified section...

Ok, one thing I noticed in the Classified section is that people post
parts to sell but don’t list the frickin price.

For example, someone posts a F/S on an item or two and then you
got others replying with:

“How much for this?”

I dunno about you but this annoys me. If you gonna list a part for sale,
provide ALL the info you can on the part, as well as list an asking price
and include OBO if you want to make to allow flexibility on the pricing.

If you gonna list a motor for sale, provide info such as what you get
(motor+tranny+ecu+etc.), mileage, and anything else. Don’t just say
“It’s a 1992 DOHC KADE”.

I’m not knocking at this guy but a prime example of this is the
“TONS of 240sx parts…” thread here: http://forums.son240sx.ca/viewtopic.php?t=1472

Thought you mods can write up a Buy/Sell Guidlines which mentions
this kinda stuff.

There were guidlines but i doubt any one will listen.

I for one hate people who list without a price.

That guy sellig all those parts could have sold way more stuff if he only listed the price. Im still waiting for a price on that cap. :stuck_out_tongue:

My computer here at home on the weekends is horribly slow, I’ll post some guidelines with the points you guys made as well as a few others tommorow evening…

location, quality of item, currency and price would all be a good thing. and if possible a picture.

okay we defenatly have to set down some ground rules for the classifieds.

i hate asking price, chassis etc.

a good classified post should not need any responses because if the buyer is willing he/she will pm or call not post. so guide lines = good idea.
