no wheelie bar. It only pulls them about 6-7 inches.

OK, just got it dyno tuned @ Hybrid. Big thanks to those guys

One warning. Do not use Torqo Blue. It hates wide bands.

We only got a couple runs with a/f, but with one jet change, and one air bleed change we got it to 12.9. Not sure how accurate it really is cause of the fuel messing with the sensors, but it sounded alot better pullin threw the upper rpms.

Oh, and for the number lovers. Best of 566whp. Supposably, thats down alot from actual on account of huge slicks, and 5k torque converter. So that leave a potential for it to be 700+ at the crank. Indy says it has potential to hit 850, with his cubes and their heads. Unfortunately rain today, so 9 hunting will have to wait a couple weeks :mad:

yea i seen that. that thing doesnt leave straight for its life. ever run i seen it go went directly to the right. close to 9s but far from low 9s

I wasnt there unfortunately. He never mentioned it launching crooked. Oh well, Leaf springs can be fickle when you have that much torque. We’ll probably give the caltracs some preload on the right, and see how it does. There are still alot of kinks to work out.

that is why it is called test and tune. finding out what the car will do. for the first time out i would say not too bad. in fact pretty dam good. it will take some time but i don’t think low nines would be unreasonalbe goal. just takes time to sort a new combo out. Thats the 3rd session its had.

first; really bad suspension bind, and wheel hop. No full passes where made

Second; bind removed 1.44 60’ 10.20’s

Third; jet change 10.05 1.43 60’

I personally don’t think low nines are possible unless something gets changed drastically. At over 4000lbs, I don’t forsee this thing getting to the 9.8s. Maybe really late in the year, with everything else figured out it might hit 9.899999999999999. Getting those 60’ times down a little would help alot.
