I work there selling beer. You can’t tailgate. Parking is 6 bucks.
Loads of cops in the main lot, we drank but had to keep it mad secret, no cans/bottles, bring a Mcdonalds cup or something like that, was like a highschool party with someones mom there, lame tailgate, great show though!!
I’m going to the show tomorrow. A bunch of us are going to party at Whirlpool park that’s what we did last time too.
went tuesday, back row, left side (looking at the stage) no lawn, not a LOT of people as far as how many they could handle with facilities, i can only imagine the f-ing disaster that place can be with the lawn sold out… cops were bad, threw out an entire tour bus of canadians b/c they cracked a beer before anyone got there. they had 2 12 packs for the whole bus from what i heard and the bus was sent away with everyone on it and were not allowed on the grounds. cop got a report filed against him by the group, and the bus was re-admitted. that’s the story from the art park staff i was chatting with before the show. burgers looked good, prolly 1/2 or 1/3 lber’s, $6 a burger, $3 fries, $4 beers,$5 box wine/mike’s hard crap. i’m not an uber hip fan myself, but it was a good show, 2-1 hour sets with a half hour intermission and 4 or 5 song encore. i knew 6 or 8 songs from the radio, but my fiance, and her 'rents knew everything b/c they are the fans. would i pay $60 a ticket, plus let ticket master violate me with “convenience fees”? no, but it was a father’s day/birthday present to her family.

forgot to mention, Brian Campbell sat a few rows ahead of me/us. he was pretty drunk! Pat Kaleta sat to our left, he behaved, not a sip.
