The Official MICHAEL JACKSON THREAD

Hey, you created some great music, but you molested little boys. But hey, I’m going to look the other way. While your at it, would you sign my Thriller album. And I want you to meet my 11 year old little brother.

A pedophile is a pedophile, I don’t give a shit if he could Moonwalk and had platinum records.

Pedophiles, rapists, and wife beaters are the biggest SHIT on the face of the earth. Just because they “changed” music doesn’t mean we have to feel bad for them when they pass. He molested little boys.

Um…he did accomplish a lot in his music career, but I would not say he was the biggest accomplishment ever in music.

One less pederass in this world…at least how I view it.

you could have named my name Mr holier than thou

RIP to the man, changed the world of music.

It’s gonna be terrible if the cause of death was drugs, and chances are it is :-/

there were scripts on his bedside table

im telling you its food poisoning

sticky? really?

really sticky

Those of you saying that his personal life should be irrelevant, serious question.

If OJ died, would you be saying that everyone should focus on his great running back career and all of his accomplishments for the Bills, and ignore his personal struggles?
If not, then you’re a hypocrite.

I’m indifferent on the issue. Not sure what I think. Just sparking some debate. Whether one’s achievements and personal life should be viewed one and the same, or seperate entities is a matter of opinion.

yikes i’m not sure if I want to speak honestly in this thread or not. I always felt bad for MJ and thought people took advantage of his generosity and made him look worse than he was. I truely believe he thought he was still a child at heart. The world lost a really great artist and someone who really gave a damn about changing the world for the better through his music.

RIP MJ

I always wondered, how did his music make the world a better place? It sells albums and gives people entertainment, but how does it make a world better? Does it stop wars? Does it lower taxes? Does it stop racism?

Just wonderin’

Ever hear of a song called “we are the world”? One of the biggest selling songs of all time that raised like 60 million dollars for starving children. He didn’t write that song and he wasn’t the only performer but he was one of the reasons that the song was as successful as it was.

What happened to the tour now? Didn’t he like sell out at a whole bunch of places?

I would assume those shows are cancelled and someone lost a lot of money.

When we realize pop stars and celebrities are no more then anyone else on this earth, we will finally begin to realize the real issues in the world.

We have idolized celebrities too much, that’s all I’m saying.

Rip MJ, and let that be it.

The controversy, the debate, everything, died when he did this evening. He’s one person in a world of 6 billion, his death is unfortunate but let’s be honest: who is ACTUALLY affected by this?

I actually came back to post the same exact example…

I’m saddened by the fact that the world lost one of the greatest artists of our time… but in my mind I can’t get over what he was accused of and the eccentric things he did in the last 10-15 years
