I’ll say it once more. You buy a F40 in RED ONLY. And I HATE red with a passion.
i can not agree with you here…i hate red too much.
Every F40 left the factory red. Any other color you see is a respray.

I will never own another red vehicle. I had one and it constantly needed waxing because it would fade so easily. When I bought the truck it was practically pink but the dealer buffed it out pretty good. Even after a complete repaint it always needed attention.
My Mustang is about as close as Id go to red ever again.

The F40’s body is comprised almost entirely of composite materials, mostly a weave of carbon fiber, Kevlar, and Nomex. The car was available in one colour only - Rosso Corsa - and the composite body panels were left unfinished in many areas, such as inside the doors, the cabin floor, and the door sills.
