Haven’t really sat down and watched it in year with any vested interest.
I suppose every show has a limited shelf life, even if it is 25+ years…apparently except Law and Order! :slight_smile:

The Simpsons should have been off the air years ago. There’s an appropriate time frame for any show, just like they fucked up King of the Hill, which was great up until like year 8.

king of the hill sucked from the start. The simpsons lost my interest when family guy came out. In the early days the simpsons was offensive to the general public and that is what made it interesting to a lot of people. It is too tame now to hold my interest.

King of the Hill has a very specific humor, pretty dry. With Fam Guy and American Dad I haven’t been unimpressed yet, there’s only maybe 3 episodes between both series that I couldn’t laugh at. I was happy to see the Cleveland Show go, and I don’t understand how Bob’s Burgers is successful.

i havent watched the simpsons in since i was a teenager really but on occasion what i caught of the newer stuff was still entertaining… i think the show is still the same but we’re different and it doesnt have the same appeal.

it’s still essentially the same show and there is an audience for it but it doesnt stand out the way it once did.

I’ve only seen maybe 2 Bob’s Burgers episodes. I’d still rather watch a marathon of BB over the Big Bang Theory any day

Hypothetically, I’d rather have a hot stripper daughter then a busted one. If you’re daughter is going to be a stripper, at least don’t have her be the daytime weekday one.
