Why does it take so long for thread titles to update?
If they even change at all.
Help me oh wise NYS admins. I can’t exactly lower a price on a car without changing it in the title.

There are 2 ways to edit a thread title - the Admin way and the User way. The Admin way works the way it should, but as a regular user if you try to edit the title of the thread by using “advanced” after clicking the “edit post” button, it only updates the post title not the thread title. As an Admin it works both ways.
So it might be a permission issue somewhere, unless it’s one of those silly vB 4.0 problems they’re still sorting out. I’ll be looking into it.
It was that way in 3.0 and still in 4.0. Weird issue that never really climbed up on their issue resolution list.
They’ve done studies, you know. 60% of the time it works, every time.
