I just picked up a new one for my fleet so its time for the oldest one to go.
Use it every weekend to tow a 4cyl race car to Holland and back. Has never let me down.
98’ or 99’ Stehl Tow, have original paperwork.
72" plate. Takes 2" ball. 8way round plug.
Has electronic brakes but have not been used in 2 years. They were last serviced/new in 2010.
The wiring is a mess, it needs new fenders, lights, wiring etc. The lights on it now work to some extent, but I’m not gonna lie it looks like shit. Tires are so so, wheel bearings were new last year.
It does have a shimmy going down the road when empty due to a misjudgement with a fence post a while back. It can be straightened by Don’s welding for around ~$300.
Will come with 1 set of straps, the ratchets were new this spring.
I’m looking for $450. To buy one like this new with the brakes is around $1700.
