i understand how it works. 2step on my car wouldnt hold psi the whole time, it would drop and then go back up, im going to wait to where it is for me to launch, not go on green.
my ass mount made 440rwhp when i raced you. i raced you once with my 76mm setup, the first night i took the car out, and it was on 6 cylā¦ part of the reason i sold that setup, the header design was dumb and my wires on the passenger side always wanted to come off. i know you know this, but youāre just trying to look sweet for NYSPEED!!! cool braww

Prove your street car on the street. Set up the race correctly and there will be no problems.
also, Iām pretty sure the consistency of the track takes a lot of variables for the street awayā¦ ie track prep, the light, staging, a pretermined distance (1320 feet) etc etcā¦ Frankly I dont want to hear the excuses of the street raceā¦ not to mention the danger of these 600+ hp cars miscalculating something
Turboās car is driven on the street (see: streetcar.) and the fact that it would appear to be .5 of a second faster on the track (which is a shitload) and 10-20 mph higher trapā¦ I dont really think much else mattersā¦ Its not like these cars are even that closeā¦ unless somebody is sandbaggingā¦

PS. my bike back in 2007 was faster every time we raced and it was just a little 600ā¦ that hardly makes me āstreet kingā against bills car todayā¦ So talking about old races is dumb.

Iāll pay the admission price for both Choda & Turbo LS1 to whatever drag day / night they want, and whoever wins Iāll give them $100. 1 grudge match race; fastest 1/4 mile ET; No excuses or 2nd chances if you screw up.
The catch:
Both drivers need to agree to allow us to put large NYSpeed stickers on their cars and let me film the race. Iām paying for the stickers and they can come off after the race.

It doesnāt seem like Turbo really cares, but it also seems like he spent a lot of money and never really knew what he wanted out of the car.
Going auto and cage but not being able to run at the track seems really stupid. Youāve posted before how much you enjoyed it as a stick, and if you just like cruising I think you should have kept it that way. And if you like cruising the street, what is the point of all that power if you donāt use it. A car with that much power is gunna get you into serious legal trouble even if you arenāt racing.
I get how these things snowball though, and you obviously had the money, but you would probably enjoy something more street friendly like a C6. Turboās car is sweet, but I think people should see where he is coming from. Selling it is definitely the right move. Otherwise it should be legal at the track or it simply has no point and might as well be stock if it is just for putzing around in.
I still think some of these fast cars should race, but this drama is lame. In chodaās defense, things are much harder to predict on the street; I wouldnāt say he doesnāt have a chance from a dig.
That being saidā¦ having a 6 spd that needs serious work every time you beat on it sucks a whole lot worse than a reliable car that can run 9ās consistantly whilst retaining nice street manners. (his 6spd was constantly giving issues)
