I’m not getting into any kind of street racing vs drag racing debate, I would just like to say, that no matter what, crashes can happen. Although there is much less chance at the track.

I know where Turbo is coming from. No I don’t have a $35k 9 sec car. I had the KTM if I would have streeted I woulda lost my DL in a heartbeat. So I sold it.

I like onyx’s proposal. The bottom line is, everyone in this thread has their own opinion on what should be happening here. It’s nice to know there are some people that understand my reasons for not going street racing. Its not rocket science. If you want to go do that, have fun, but I wont be out there joining you.
the last time i donned full leathers was last night… lol (just to make sure they still fit and it was a joke)… that being said the last time I rode was 4-5 months ago… the last time i rode in leathers was on a track.
Like people said… it just takes some a bit longer to grow up.
And of course im being a bit hypocritical here, but im also not in a 9 sec car.

god forbid they race and someone wrecks, blows a tire etc one of the many variables that can occur. no one wants a repeat of the neon kid and besides i wouldnt want to see one of these 2 guys at work if it did
Josh’s proposal seems the only legit one thus yet. My vote goes to filmed and sponsored track race. Take out all the variables and just leave a nice, clean, friendly grudge match.
Im realy upset that nyspeed doesnt organize a track day at Empire. Alot of effort goes into all thes canada and outta state events when we got a 1/4mi track in our back yard that can be just as fun. I know its late but maybe next year we can arrange something.

It’s not like Turbo wasn’t at the track 4-5 times this year working on his setup trying to knock off any 8 :lol: I could understand if he never went to the track this year there might be grounds to talk shit but fuck he ran a 9.0 @ 150

Im just saying, if im out crusing around and happen to run into turbo at a light, there is no way in hell im not gonna give her hell. I say race at the track then run some on the street. We all know of places to go where you wouldnt have problems. I think it would satisfy both partys.
