Two 1969 Camaros at Local Auction

Half of the car guys in buffalo will be at this auction if its on a saturday thinking they are the only ones that know about this.

If newman can verify the price it was sold for, Im willing to bet it will sell for more at this auction

oooh

I’m checking it out. Probably will go for a decent $.
It seems like a decent build, but dated. The other looks like a project.

I got my codebook ready

expect to pay more then what they are worth, people get stupid when bidding

(ill be there lol)

You ass, I was hoping to get that…

I was planning on hitting that up as well- hopefully it’s rescheduled soon.

Holy stupidity.

$25,500 for the blown 69 which needs to have the engine gone through and is an older resto
So after auction 20% and tax, over $32,000

$10,400 for the other 69 which needs to get stripped and repainted.
After auction 20% and tax, over $13,390

More money than brains in Buffalo for this one.

And Pauly owes me a sub

can’t say I’m too surprised. :meh:

When items like those come up to public auction they tend to bring out all the speulators.

The auctioneer stated that the estate said the blown 69 had $75-85k invested in the car. I called BS on that since I don’t even have half that in mine and I have newer better stuff.

But whoever got the cars will dump at least $10k into them.

Ugh,not to mention buyers probably had to pay a premium fee + Tax.Extra 20-25% right there.

Forgot to add that. Added it to my post. Stupid $$$

I have been there before, most of the cars go way over what they are worth. you can find better deals on non automotive things there.

Ummm ummm what sub???

How soon you forget
From Marco’s Deli, of course!

I’m Joking I owe. I didnt think the car would go past 6G Joe gave me to 8 and i still lost. That car (non-blown) is a 2500-3000 car. I looked it over very well yesterday at the preview.
I didnt think of the fact that people would be there that dont know 1st Gen’s very well

Realistically if it was a private owner, they could have gotten $6-7k since it’s a 69 Camaro. Even with needing work. Auctions make people stupid.

10K was too high for the one and it should’ve sold for 2-3 grand?did it not have an engine, frame, floors?I thought just a shell of those cars were $5k+

I hope newman can tell us what they previously sold for
