Uhg VW needs to sell this

no. more like 28 something grand. anyone who would buy a stock .:R for 50 grand should be locked up.

I think it was $36k.

lol

that shits sig worthy

ugh thanks for making me randomly think of that lol… i do miss it.

i got another ol Vw in the works though

sigh

i belive they were under 30K before taxes.

actually. the car above was built by APR. they used the car for a R&D project… And the turbo kit that is on the car will soon be released as their stage 3+ kit. WHich I will deffintly have.
Anyone on this board who knows anything about the MK5 gti’s knows that everyone(major tuner companys) were in a panic mode becuase they were having the hardest time finding fueling solutions due tot he FSI direct injection to keep up with the big turbos they want to come out with for the GTI.
So this is actually a big step in the vw/audi community…i think.
The kit is pretty sweet as it makes 350 WHP on stock internals, which is pretty fucking awesome!

you’re not giving me any credit here
:frowning:

come over sometime and see this beast

i thought you were talking about getting something besides what’s already in the garage. and i was sighing because you’ll be sleeping on my couch when your dad throws you out of the house for taking over his garage for whatever new project you are thinking up (i’m surprised he hasn’t tossed your ass already).

and i’ll stop over tonight or tomorrow and check it out. maybe once my clothes are out of the washer and in the dryer, i’ll come over while they dry.

<3

umm…thanks for the info?

MKIV R32’s Invoiced at $26,490 and MSRP was $29,100 according to MSN Auto’s.

As for wanting VW to actually produced this jacked GTI, I vote no. Let the aftermarket jack up GTI’s. VW should do what the aftermarket cannot: Sell a USDM MKV R32 with a manual transmission. Why they’re saying they’re only going to bring a DSG R32 here is beyond me. Last I checked, most performance enthusiasts like to manipulate a clutch. :gotme:

just backing you up

awww. you’re the best.

I like it.

And I must say, I love VWs. I ahte them at the same time. but i’ve been driivng a 2003 TDI Jetta for the past week. It’s a dream to drive. Although a bit disconnected from the road because of the drive by wire and all.

It’s always a love/hate thing when it comes to a VW.
