I overheard security at the staging lanes say they were going to have the Vette owner arrested. Wasn’t sure why. They were making calls to the owner to see if he would let him run again.
Not sure. Might be because they didn’t get to prep the track for it. Maybe they didn’t want to risk injuries. Not sure?

also the guy with the jeep srt8 and a stage 2 upgrade, that will kick that suv’s ass if they went up against eachother. that truck last year was fucking fast.
also their was a pickup truck last year, lifted with one smoke stack, i believe it was green. you stood at the line watching this truck reving up the truck spooling up the turbo. black smoke and everything, he drops the clutch and leaves you looking at the start line. runs like low 6’s and is fucking bad ass!
edit: but they allowed that noco drag car to go last year, which ran like a 3.9 or something low like that. had the fucking bags on the back. bull shit!

^^^my buddy said they ran a 6.4 on the quicker pass. they were running near 6 flats a year or 2 ago. still havent ran it with the nitrous. as for why they were banned from wed nights, it was for safety. theyll be racing again this year i guess and theyre planning to add a wheelie bar i guess.

was funny though, i came with a group of guys, my friend in his built Imp, his friend in his monte, and 4 sentra’s. had to park in the pits cuz we got there late.

It was my first time there. I guess rice is bigger up north. Did see some nice cars, mixed in with all the fugliness . I miss the way they sorted the cars out when it was at Summit Park Mall, at least keep the the crap out. That would leave better room for the real cars & trucks. I think with a little organization, it would be a better cruise.
