i ran an 8.12, came up to the line, guy bitched at me for no helmet, and said i could run this time but i had to get on the brakes at the end… so i ran an 8.10 and then parked it. I wish i got time slips so i could see my horrid 60 foots.
Lol, no I don’t. The kid that owns the car has a problem with me, and seems to think that racing me would fix it I guess, IDK. I never got around to going tonight, maybe next week.
I was told that is the cutoff, 8.6 or faster and you need a helmet to race.
They have been enforcing this lately. 3 years on tuesdays they never said a thing to me. Now they make me wear a helmet

Good time, except the fastest car I saw there was that black del sol. Finally saw one of the new camaros up close in person, they’re better looking than I thought. Even though the ass end is still meh. And the silver and black 68ish camaros were sexy.

Only thing to bitch about was the dumb ass bikers driving down Genessee that were in the middle lane and as a group decided to move into the right lane where I was to go into the Noco (without signal or even looking). I almost did some bike bowling.
I went, I knew my car would get some looks but holy fuck, people drooling on it, taking pictures of themselves standing next to it ect ect
There was a dude in a silver V6 5th gen who parked like 2 cars away from me and within 5 mins he left and went to the circle

The best part of the night for me was when a older guy asks this middle aged guy who is looking at my car “is that your car?” and the dude replied “yeah”
I let him talk it up for a minute or two and then walked between the two of them , said excuse me and opened the door and sat in it

I do have to agree with you Joe, the number of dumbasses on bikes increases every week. I almost feel embarrassed to be associated with sportbike riders sometimes.

They seem to get stupid when leaving. Splitting lanes at the exit, driving close to the cars and trucks. I have a truck, I WILL win.
The silver RS had front plates on it. I’d skip putting front plates as long as I could. Not sure why he went to the oval.
You brought the first 5th Gen V8 car to the cruise. Of course a lot of people are going to check it out. You should have brought it down the track for a pass.
As for the guy saying he owned the car, awesome. I had someone do that before and did the same thing. He looked like an ass when I got in it and drove away.
yeah there will be no front plate on the car as long as I own it:)
as far as the track , Weds suck with no track prep and it only has 300 miles on it, have to break it in a little before I run it hard
