lol yeah, but you might be able to see me going crazy chasing you guys :pedo:
Yeah, more like blowing past us, but yeah haha
I was out running errands a couple nights ago and decided to play in a lot I found.
Here’s a google earth image of that lot with the Driftbox recording from going through it. Just add snow and remove the cars.
This lot was very good for practicing setting up a sequence of slow technical turns and has room for some longer but still pretty slow sweepers. I see a few 10+ second drifts in the log. It had 8-12" of light fluffy snow everywhere as it had not been plowed at all. I saw the islands were staked and off I went. I was putting the nose real close to some of the islands which is why in a few spots it looks like I went over them, but I didn’t hit anything.
I just left the last couple turns on this one so it’s easier to see the lot and the six islands. I got pretty aggressive at the end going counter clockwise. North is up on this image. Where the red line showing my path is on the left side of the image the Driftbox recorded 92 degree drift angle so I was facing east while traveling south. Then as I came around to the bottom of the image I was at an 80 degree angle so I was facing North while traveling East around the lower island. I really enjoy having an older car that I’m not afraid to do this with.
