I was just wondering if anyone happened to use a usb bluetooth with their laptop for a wireless connection. If you have or have heard anything about them could you give me some advice? My grandfather is looking for some sort of wireless for his computer and i stumbled upon this but dont want to buy the wrong one or even buy one if they dont work that well.
Thanks!
What the hell are you talking about lol
I think you are getting bluetooth and wifi mixed up.
its a real thing… http://www.usbgear.com/USB-Bluetooth.html
i was jw if anyone knew anything about it…obviously not!
No.
You want a wireless usb adapter. WLAN adapter.
That thing you posted is like using a hardwired desktop with the bluetooth adapter connecting to a desktop with bluetooth adapter, creating a ad-hoc like wireless bridge.
I dunno, that bluetooth thing from the description is worthless. Just get a usb wlan adapter they are like 9.99 at bestbuy.
awesome! thanx
my friend has bluetooth built in his laptop and connects it with his cellphone. then he uses the highspeed in his cell to surf the web on his laptop… is this what you mean?
