No, this particular cave was discovered in 1991 by Ho Khanh but he forgot where it was and he just found it again in 2009 after 3 expeditions, so it was first explored in 2009. NatGeo has photos posted on May 1st, 2009 showing them inside the cave. They went BACK to go in further this time…
