Hey im not sure what the heck its called, but i called nissan they said it was " PLate Engine Rear". so i take its a rear engine plate… anyways getting to the description, its the plate between the block and teh tranny. its a think little gaskette like panel, its thin and just holds the shape of the bell housing and a cut out for where teh starter is placed. if you can get back to me , i need one from off a manual tranny… with a KA24de motor… please help me out

definitely sounds like the metal plate to me.
