Fireworks over Boldt Castle on the 5th. Did some fishing… Took a nap on the beach. Had lunch on a floating restaurant. Had escargot, duck, and prime rib for dinner.
And got engaged!
The ring is a 1/3rd carat set in white gold. Proposed during the fireworks finale, it went perfect even though they turned all the lights off 2 minutes before the finale, so she couldn’t even see the ring!
We’re both just 20 (turned 20 on july 2nd), so the wedding is set for spring or summer of 2012.
Drinks all around!

ugh. talk about growing up quick.
Wish you the best. Couldn’t see myself doing it though. I’m a completely different person than I was at 21.
One of my best friends got married at 20, 6 years later he is still happily married, has owned 2 homes (built his current one), and has 2 great kids.
Congratulations Steve, I always have know you guys have what it takes to “make it.” You old young man you.

you should ask for the ring back “to be sized” or something, then break it off and enjoy life bro.
$0.02
best of luck man, looking back at my early 20s I’m glad I didn’t get married then. people change a lot in their 20s.
