Went to the Windy City, came home with a VW

Haha thanks guys. This will be going a different route than my previous cars. Putting bigger wheels yes, but proper tire sizes too, going aggressive and very functional

still kicking myself, I almost got one of these and went with a new evo 8 for the same price back in 2003. should be a nice investment if you take care of it.

thanks for all the kind words guys! I intend to take care of it and then some. Currently installing the Momo Prototipo wheel I bought for it, Recaros are 100% in. Will follow with pics today

still have to install the rs door cards and rennline pedal set and interior goodies but the wheel and seats are good to go

Looks good

what color cards did you go with?

Rennlines black ones. Going to do the door pull in tan leather

I almost did not even click because it said VW, pleasantly surprised. Nice!

Haha you know I wouldn’t buy an actual VW and if I did I certainly wouldn’t travel for it. Thanks man!

I like it

i like the builds & acquisitions going on around here these days.

Thank you sirs, that’s what happens when guys start getting money and growing up to buy and build the cars they’ve dreamed about. Like me with this hahah

I’m sure as hell not going to spend that money on children anytime soon. ugh.

Nice Car, lots of P-cars around here

Can someone explain to me where the term P-car started? Its like nails on a chalkboard when I read that. Why not Porsche or 911. 911 is shorter than typing P-car if its a short hand thing.

Go take your 'stang out for a rip bruh.

I just might haha. I like 911’s and really like Steve’s 993. I just never understood why people started calling them P-cars. It sounds like a lyric from a 50 cent song that’s all.

Congrats on the new ride Steve.

it’s one of those things that ‘just is’. probably no reason to ask why.

I have owned Porsches since about 1989 and I had never heard P-car before here about a year ago.:gotme: It must be a hipster thing.
