Lol you dick. And to be fair I was there, that wasn’t the tires fault…
i know i know
it was just the first thing that came to mind LOL
I actually like the wheels. Car looks good. I’ve been giving some serious thought into getting into a 911.
(Accord will have to suffice, couldn’t find a Civic version, haha)
Charlap’s is da shit bra.
charlaps swoon
Best ice cream ever
:io:
Too much stance?
LOL
I wasn’t one of the haters, but that’s still funny. Glad nothing horrible happened.
Yeah that’s never good, someone could die. But it might be time to step up the tire game.
Sucks, but I’d be lying if I didn’t LOL.
I mean I posted it so obviously don’t give a shit lol. The wheel was leaking air slowly on the silicone seal. I didn’t realize. Drove it, the tire popped the bead at 75mph and ran itself over causing the seen damage. Luckily I saved it as it was super sketchy at that speed. The wheel some how did not get damaged which is crazy lucky and I’m fine as well.
This didn’t happen because of the tire, or brand or stretch. A 285/30 is plenty on a 11" wheel. However I had all of the other tires dismounted and order 4 new tires all around as I just wouldn’t buy one, and I’ve wanted to get rid of the shit stretch up front so it was a good excuse.
Ouch… lucky it didn’t end badly for you or the rim. The irony here is awesome.
Cool of you to post it  easily could have kept that to yourself.
285 is barely stretched at all on a 11 inch wheel, my oem sizes are 295 on a 11.
Yup. All my sizes, if you check tire rack fit in the range for the size wheels I have. I just went with more sidewall on the new tires this time around as I hated the stretch up front. I’ll have to watch my pressures more closely however I think the tires I got should be a decent upgrade.
Little update. Bought an oem euro turbo front bumper from Belgium. This gets rid of the bumperettes and just looks much better. It’ll be going for paint soon. Also finally fixed my battery issue and finished my interior. Went with different speakers to look for era appropriate. Finally, finished my frunk setup. Equipped with a matching 18x4.5" fully operational spare wheel.
 looks great.
