Hope everyone had a good holiday.
I went low budget this year and made my gifts for my immediate family. I made them all gift certificates for my services throughout the year. Some examples of the cards were making dinner, babysitting (my sister’s absolute favorite present every year), yard work, oil changes, computer help/lessons, and car washes. I also made big collages from pictures throughout the year for my Mom\Dad and sister. I have large color plotters at work so I just did the collage in Publisher and printed it. I waited too long to frame them so that was also an accompanying gift certificate. My Mom is picky about picture frames anyways so I made a provision she can pick it out, haha.
As for gifts given to me I was pretty surprised. I specifically told everyone not to get me much as I was strapped for cash from school and wouldn’t be able to spend much in return. That didn’t work though because I got a Nikon D40 camera with a couple add-on lenses and memory card. I also got some cool Kawasaki and Steelers clothes. It also wouldn’t be Christmas if my Mom didn’t get me a really age-inappropriate toy. This year I got 3 sets of Batman Legos. It was a sweet eBay find she said. I also got an ORIGINAL Optimus Prime toy. My first one went down a well around 1989.
Wife got me a new tool chest and some tools that i didn’t have(hard to believe), plus some jeans and a nice steeler hoodie. New rechargeable spotlight, 2 pairs of gloves, along with a bunch of other stuff.
My son got us a digital picture frame, and got me a case of assorted yuengling…

I just got back from doing 124mph across the glenwood. Would have been faster, but when its this cold out I have no traction in 3rd I also slowed down quite early should be able to hit 140.
