which AFI cds?

oh, and George Carlin - You’re All Diseased

a few songs off of just about every one. I downloaded a bunch of AFI a few months ago and never really knew a lot about them. I heard silver and gray a few weeks ago on the radio and decided to listen to them. It’s pretty good, but I wish it was a little heavier. I’m kinda into old school punk right now, have any bands that are a little heavier than AFI?

well if your used to listening to Social D, then just about anything is harder. New AFI sucks serious cock. Old AFI is killler though. Art of Drowning and Black Sails in the Sunset are great CD’s. also download these two songs off an obscure 4 song cd they put out: Total Immortal and Halloween (misfits cover)

as far as other punk bands: really hard punk is called hardcore. Check out bands like Sick of It All and Snapcase. other punk like Dropkick Murphys, Anti-Flag, Bad Religion, Choking Victim / Leftover Crack, Misfits, NOFX, The Distillers, The Vandals…

Snapcase is pretty hard. I fucking hate Anti-Flag. The Misfits are one of the greatest. Bad Religion and the Dropkick Murphy’s both have some pretty good songs.

If you want some old school, kick your ass, early “hardcore”/punk check out Black Flag and Minor Threat…in my opinion, these two bands best represent the early American “hardcore” scene.
