Then I was also introduced to these guys. They are fucking out there, kind of their own genre. They seem to be a mix of Electronicore, post-hardcore, metalcore, and trancecore <—whatever the fuck that is?
Anyway, this is when they were younger. I’m told their new stuff is better?
Enter Shikari is one of my favorite bands. I can’t tell you how many of their shows I’ve gone to. The video you posted was the first song of their’s I ever heard.
The drumming pattern to the intro of this song is ridiculous. Derek Roddy is too good.
I’ve tried to get into them over the last few days, and I just can’t get past some of the cheesy synth fills. That first song is pretty bad ass. I wish they would’ve stuck closer to that sound.
