There’s more to it than that, it’s not about shitting in a bucket and putting a bag over it - that part is what snopes is talking about as the “western” definition.
It’s the real deal just not here and it involves the sludge left in pipes/along the edge of sludge ponds which contains more than just human waste but chemicals as well.
