its not that hard but not easy at all.

actually front end is from a cabriolet. already have that done. I had to replace both front fenders, grill, round headlights had to custom fab brackets to fit the old square headlight rad support.

the wheels arent chrome. they are pollished aluminum Shmidts from germany. About 300bucks a piece if you can get them.

skinny chrome bumpers from the 70’s rabbits are rare probably 350 bucks if i can find one.

those cross hair headlights are around 200bucks. vwcabby has them on his cabby.

Lowering will be H&R springs with bilsteen shocks for the front and axel flip in the rear with air ride shocks.

Paint will hopefully done by august. after the i get all the rust problems taken care of.

I’m not sure what the motor will be? Right now it has a motor from an 84 gti 96hp and 100ft/lbs of torque. With g-grind cams, and headers. and has a 4 speed tranny. its kinda zippy around town.

I didn’t go with the 13" they were too small…i had 14x7

it was a 14x7 100 spoke reverse offset (full deep dish)
with 175/70/14 with thin whitewall
