don’t have right now i’ll keep an eye out:cool:

Both beatiful cars and well taken care of!

Anyway, to get this thread back on track…
My worst loss in the ā€˜bird? How about my only loss: An Evo, when I had to shut it down due to popping a header gasket, and a couple valves that were bent about 15* south of acceptable. This Evo supposedly runs ~12.9’s. While I was losing by half a car after about 1/8 mile, and I’m not afraid to admit that, I think I was giving him one hell of a run for his money. Not bad for an ā€˜under construction’ car, methinks… And it’s right on target for the mid-13’s I was guesstimating based on other thirdgenners’ results.

but can you run it???

heh, I’d rather have a GenI. Cost me a helluva lot less than a GenIII SBC (I already have most of the parts I want, SuperRam excluded), easier to work on, and I won’t hafta completely re-do my laptop+scanner setup (LS1Edit is EXPENSIVE. WinALDL+OBDI software is free.). One engine swap and wiring nightmare is enough for me. Now, if PewterSS or another F-Body parts guy could find me one of the LS6 block and intake combos that found its way into an 01/02 TA and a T56 for cheap, I’d consider it.

what you smoking i never heard of any ls6 in no fbody factory. but he does
have the all-o-mighty:bowdown: ls1 with plenty of t56s around
and you can keep your gen 1 motor you need way more money just to get
to the point of a gen III stock!!! gen I run 220hp stock ls1 run [underated] at 305hp
