i asked this not just for me. i know my decision but just to see how others would take it. and why they felt that way. this seems to be a topic around the net recently from what i noticed so figured why not carry it over
sorry but no body can prove to me they made progress with this field. you can get 10 yrs of treatment and still be fucked at the last 6months. its the biggest money making thing ever. i could go on but im not since this would be the same type of post as a politc one.
cancer is in my family. i dont worry about it until it comes. it isnt like you can prevent it anyway. not worth sitting and basically waiting for it
cancer is a hit and miss diagnosis, i treat patients that respond well to chemo and radiation and others do not!
in some people chemo and rad kill the cancer cells if it is localized, if the cancer is maligment or spreads to other organs or lymphnodes then pretty much you are screwed!
iv also seen people like quick described that go through pure misery of chemo and radiation and still lose the battle. if you ever seen or been around a chemo or rad patient after treatment you would know what misery they go through!
so really it’s up to the individual if they are diagnosed with cancer, which route they want to take.
either way it causes lots of strain and pain on a family…
