new o2 sensor and timing check on the way, what else could be causing this problem?
The dips in power are probably due to knocking, what kind of gas are you running? Does your car ever stumble a little off the line? If it does it may be the knock sensor.
Mine did the same thing and i have searched and pretty much determined it may be a bad knock sensor or the fact that either the timing was too advanced or the gas was shitty.
Have you ever changed the coolant temp sensor??
I have also seen a bad ground to the engine cause that. Are you throwing any codes?
I have like 6 extra grounds and my car still does the same.
coolant temp sensor was replaced not too long ago
i use regular gas and premium gas on ocassion
car never really stumbles off the line
no codes, car drives and sounds fine other than the fact that its down on power
timing i am unsure of, i’ll be checking that, if its off would it be most likely that its the culprit?
